North Port Florida is located just 20 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico and minutes from Interstate I-75. It is also very close to Port Charlotte and Charlotte Harbor. The springs produce 9 million gallons of new water daily with the richest density of minerals of any known spring in the world. The waters have a year-round temperature of 87 degrees. The springs offer wellness services believed to relax, recharge, and renew your body. The park is open daily and there is a café located on the premises for food and drink. You can reserve time at the springs for a banquet, wedding, or other type of gathering.
North Ports’ closest airport is located approximately 32 miles away. It is the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ). Another nearby airport is in Fort Myers. It is the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and it is about 44 miles from North Port, FL. There is also the Tampa International Airport (TPA) located in Tampa, FL which is about a 66 mile drive to the north.
Real Estate in North Port is unbelievable. The city happens to be the fifth largest in land mass in the state of Florida but it is only 10 percent populated. The pace of new construction here is out of control. Builders are putting new homes and condos on all of this available land. The new home prices are reasonable because of the competition.
