Manasota Beach Florida is located on the barrier island of Manasota Key on the Gulf of Mexico. Manasota Beach is one of four beaches located on the key including Englewood Beach, Blind Pass Beach and Stump Pass Beach.
The area around Manasota Beach is an absolutely beautiful. The beach has over 14 acres of gulf front beach and sand dunes. There is an ample parking area, bathrooms, covered picnic tables, and barbecue pits.
Manasota Beach is a great spot for a picnic or just a lazy day in the sun. It is one of the least crowded beaches on the key. The views are breathtaking and it is a wonderful spot to watch the colorful sunsets. There is free parking available with picnic tables and restroom facilities. You can become one with nature from bird watching to mini nature walks.
Make sure to bring your binoculars for you never know when a family of dolphins can be spotted while enjoying the sunshine. This spot makes you feel as if you were on a Caribbean vacation with beautiful blue ocean colors. Don't forget that even though you feel like you are on a secluded island all of the restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, and shopping are just a short drive away.
